Catamount Club and Giving Tuesday

One of the most important things we can do to support WCU right now is to join the Catamount Club.
I've had the privilege of getting to know many of our student athletes, and they are an impressive bunch. I've especially gotten to know a couple of our women's soccer players, including one who works with two of our children. I couldn't ask for better role models for my kiddos--they are fierce competitors, but they're smart, dedicated, and committed to doing what's right/best.
Our Catamount Club memberships support these athletes and their programs by providing scholarship funds, operating dollars, and program support. More importantly, they help build an athletics operation that creates the community that you all hold very dear. I believe that family is worth rallying around.
This fall, we are organizing a big push to grow the Catamount Club around Giving Tuesday. Several leaders on our campus boards and elsewhere have stepped up to offer challenges to help us build momentum--but it will take your investment to help us reach the goal. I hope you'll join me in joining the Catamount Club as a new or renewing member. All gifts to the Catamount Club, which includes the scholarship fund, athletics facilities, and sports-specific designations, between now and Giving Tuesday (December 3) will count toward this challenge.
