I heard they unearthed the remnants of the stands this week prepping for the upgrades to the sciences building and library. I drove around the loop on Monday before the eclipse. This is a big project. Here's the pics that were made available

Several times, the Western Carolinian would announce in their April fool edition, that Dodson was undergoing a repair to the motor under the floor and that the dining room would begin rotating "again" in the fall.

The Victory Bell The Victory Bell hung outside of Old Madison Hall. In 1938, it was mounted on a stone base between Moore and Joyner and then moved to the lawn in front of the UC in the late 1960’s. The bell now hangs in the Alumni Tower!

The buildings we knew and used, continue to come down in Cullowhee.... it's so sad. Graham infirmary demolition I don't miss the Graham infirmary at all. They kept me there for four days with a painful gum infection which spread to my intestines. They couldn't treat it with antibiotics because there was no doc on site, so I finally had them release me on Friday of homecoming and went to CJ Harris. Felt better in 24 hours. Grrr....
