High School: West Henderson HS Last College: Wingate Height / Weight: 6-1 / 165 Position: LHP B/T: L/L 2012 (Sophomore): Sat out due to NCAA transfer rules; Summer League: Played for the Forest City Owls in the Coastal Plain League during the summer of 2012 ... Made 13 appearances including three starts, posting a 1-1 overall record with one save ... Finished with a 3.56 ERA through 30.1 innings pitched, surrendering 17 runs with 12 earned on 27 hits - only five going for extra bases ... Recorded 22 strikeouts against 28 walks. An unknown quantity... perhaps Danielson could be a real sleeper for us.
I talked with a guy from the West Henderson area early in 2012 and he said Bryce is a great pitcher. Didn't set the woods on fire down at Wingate. And his negative K/BB ratio this summer in the Coastal Plain League was not impressive.
But getting back closer to home might bring new inspiration. Apparently he WANTS to be at Western!
