Jeremy Null struck out 14 and walked ZERO in 8 innings!! Outstanding! First time a Cat pitcher has gone over 100 pitches this year (I think).
Ga Southern shot themselves in the foot with 5 errors. Need to take Game #2 tomorrow. Go Cats !!

Weather played havoc with the SoCon schedule tonight.
Only 1 other game completed out of 5 SoCon matchups. CitDogs beat App 6-3.
Samford beat Ark-Pine Bluff in a non-conf game.
Furman leading Chuck 9-7 in the 8th when the game was suspended. Will finish tomorrow + play Saturday's game.
Wofford at E-Loan will play DH tomorrow and UNCG at Davidson will play a DH tomorrow.

Lost 8-4 lead in the 7th and 8th innings, but had enough in the tank to come back and score in the bottom of the 8th. Do you suppose Hatch blew the Save in order that he could get the Win?  We got some help today from Furman as they beat Chuck twice (finished yesterday's game + today's game) and more help by Wofford as they split a DH with E-Loan. |
