A lot of folks are coming in just for the party in the parking lot and not even buying a ticket, they leave when the game starts. Who are the people you are talking about? Are you talking about students? they get in free and have already paid for parking (parking sticker). If you're talking about others that are not students, then at least you'd get the parking admissions from them if they don't go into the game.

I am talking about a lot of folks in the area who are a part of the partying crowd but not students.
Even the thought of charginf for parking seems absurd to me until we can fill the stadium. I would be more inclined to add an extra couple bucks to the ticket price which would likely create more revenue than charging for parking.
Lets put a winning program together than maybe talk about charging for parking, not to mention even last year we had to trek clear across campus after parking to get to the stadium. Why should folks pay to park when there is a 20 minute walk ahead of them??

Most teams charge for parking but that is because it gets you closer to the stadium, Western only has the baseball lot left that is close to the stadium to charge. Why not charge for that lot? Creek Lot and Front Stadium Lot are Cat Club, big Stadium is exclusively student tailgate, Arts Lot is now Cat Club so parking fees are not the answer but only part of the answer. Why not sell advertising space, other teams and stadiums have it and if it helps the program go for it. But as everyone on the page has already stated the best way to get money is to have a winning program, wins will bring fans, sponsors, and options.
