I found a link on the Samford website for video streaming. No indication if it is Free or $$ www.samfordsports.com/showcaseGo Cats ! We need to sweep this series if we have any hopes of an at-large bid (in the event we stumble in the tournament). See 32's recent post about our odds vs. what we do this week. And we are already 0-1 so far this week.

Here is link to Baseball America's stock report. Since Mark Etheridge stopped doing sebaseball.com the Baseball America guys have best atlarge info. www.baseballamerica.com/college/stock-report-week-10-4/

Samford's closer, Andres Garcia has been named to the Pitcher of the Year Watch List.
"In 24.2 innings of work so far this season, Gracia has yet to give up an earned run. He leads the Southern Conference and is tied for fifth in the nation with 11 saves. Gracia has a record of 2-0, and has recorded 25 strikeouts, while allowing just six walks. Opposing batters are hitting just .193 against Gracia."

5-2 in the bottom of the second. Null has give up 6 hits in the second inning alone. The Bulldogs have batted around and we've only got 2 outs.
This is pitiful.

ASU beating Davidson 7-1 in the bottom of the 4th. Too bad we couldn't have taken advantage.
We were only 3 and 1/2 games ahead of Samford at the start of this series, and one game behind Davidson.

It's getting ugly. Going into the top of the 7th, it's 8-2 Samford.

Respectable pitching effort from Sammons and Fussell today. Fussell was exceptional until he stumbled some in the bottom of the 9th. Cats got some timely hitting and benefited from 4 errors by Sammy. Gotta get the series tomorrow!!

We don't really need to watch the scoreboard to see what else is going on in the SoCon. We just need to take care of business. If we take care of business the rest of the season, we will win the SoCon regular season by 3-4 games. Only when we DON'T take care of business do we need to pull for so-and-so to beat such-and-such.
