The Series: Western Carolina leads the all-time series with Wofford, 64-17, including a 42-6 all-time mark in games played in Cullowhee
Like the Citadel, Wofford comes to Cullowhee for a third-straight season.
The Terriers won the series three seasons ago in Spartanburg, winning 2-0 in the opener and 6-5 in the back-end of a Saturday doubleheader to mark the first-time since Wofford joined the SoCon in 1998 that the Terriers had won a three-game series over the Catamounts.
Wofford enters the series coming off a two-game midweek series against #1 Vanderbilt, The Terriers dropped both games, but were competitive against the Commodores, losing game one, 0-6 and game #2 by a final score of 3-5. Wofford record this season is 23-9 overall, 2-1 in SoCon play, but just 2-4 in away games. The Terriers have only played one SoCon series to date, that one was against VMI, with the Terriers winning 2 of 3 against the Keydets in Spartanburg.
