Bobby may have been forced to get of the Pitching Coach due to budgetary constraints. His coaching & preparation for this season could be a reflection of having to coach with one hand tied behind. If he fired the coach on his own, he bares total responsibility for the debacle this season.

If you check around the college baseball, you will find he has a reputation going back to his ACC days for getting good arms hurt. Also, It wasn't due to budgetary constraints, he fired Haverstick (or Stick as he is known by) on his own. Stick new more about pitching than he did and the kids looked up to Stick more. Mo is not as baseball minded as one might think. Sure he looks like a great coach because they won the regular season SoCon Championship the last two years, but in truth, those boys won despite the coaching. That was a talented bunch of players that played on those two teams. If anyone else had had those teams, they would have won the tournament. Can he recruit, no question about it. But can he win the big ones, don't think so. Look at his record in the tournament. To do as bad as they have this year when the conference is way down does bode well. I will say again, don't take it out on the kids. A CEO in the Corporate world is held accountable when a company is not performing well. No different here.
