Tony Skole, already a Citadel Athletics Hall of Famer, will become just the third Bulldogs baseball coach since 1965, The Post and Courier has learned.
Sources close to The Citadel and the school's search committee say Skole, currently the coach at East Tennessee State, is The Citadel's choice to replace Fred Jordan, who retired recently after 26 years with 831 career victories and 12 Southern Conference championships.
