Message board comments always crack me up. ECU doesn’t have a lineup of bomb droppers? They may have only dropped a few this weekend, but their lineup is strong as hell. Packard, brickhouse, Williams-Sutton, Litton, Washer.... all highly recruited bomb droppers. They’ve had two top 25 classes in a row. Wow no disrespect meant Tom. Just commenting as an observer about what I saw this weekend. Let me re-phrase in an attempt to appease your hurt feelings. Although ECU did not drop as many bombs as their highly touted potent offense was expected to or capable of, they were still able to push 25 runs across the board in three games using tactics other than the long ball. Statement was no way a slight to ECUs hitters (They mash)just a comment about an earlier post that mentioned WCU putting together a long ball lineup. Glad I was able to give you a laugh though. Sounds like you need one.
What do you know about Morehead State Tom?

Morhead State. Well, I know thy have never been to the regionals,supers or to Omaha as a D-1 baseball team. Also know Bill Cosby like to sea their swetshirts.

I agree that Coach Moranda will figure it out. He sees these kids every day. My kid plays on the team (RS Freshman) and he can rake, but didn't hit so great in the fall - he didn't even get an at bat this weekend which lends credibility to 66 and interested fan's comments. It makes sense that Coach Moranda is just trying to get sticks in lineup. Coach Moranda has been around and will figure it out. The SoCon is an offensive conference. It will be fine. It's just the first weekend. Cream rises to the top! Go Cats! Welcome BigBaseball! I hope you have a great 4 or 5 years with the Cats, and more importantly, that your son does.
