YOU WOULD THINK. BUT THAT WOULDN'T MAKE SENSE.
Example - Transpose the numbers (and assume they still don't bat better than they are as pinch hitters - which they will):
FRICKS WOULD BE 2nd on TEAM IN RBI -- 21 CAPPELL WOULD B 3rd with 16 BRYSON PARKS WOULD HAVE 12 SB
PITCHING: DON'T LEAVE THE BOYS IN THERE TOO LONG. YOU ARE KILING THEIR ERA! That too, would make sense, but....

Of course it is the same line up. He wants to leave those guys in there against a pitcher with an ERA of almost 14 so they can pad their stats. Then no one will be able to fuss about anyone going 0-4.

Moranda is putting his "regular" lineup in this game so that if he can get a win from a REALLY bad team, he justifies it. This is a joke, guys. It really is. Oh, and by the way, if things are going bad, hold on until about the 8th or 9th and stick your subs in when it gets really cold and they are cold so that they don't perform. Justification 2. You're a genius!

The Announcer for UNC Asheville just said the job of the starting pitcher was to "not get them too far behind."
WOW!

17 ABS -- 3 HITS -- .176 average, 3 strikeouts
Don't want to change a thing, right?
It's not even worth posting. I feel like those guys on the bench. Nothing is going to change.

I know there are some other guys that have college experience also that aren't getting a fair chance either. We have an infielder played 36 games as a freshmen hit 280 something at Coker. He is getting an at bat in the 9th every now and then also. You need to see a pitcher more than once and probably more than just 1 game out of the blue to play Division 1. You would think Coach Mo would understand that? 3-23 something should give. jroland, I think Coach Mo is trying to get fired or Eaton has ripped him off. I have never thought he was a top flight Baseball Coach because of his abysmal record in the SoCon Tourney. There is no justification for the way he is Coaching this season. I to feel bad for the Newcomers on this team. This is not the way Coach Mo or his predecessors handled players in the past. This is an embarrassment to the fans, The University, Former Players, and the past Coaches that paved the way for a solid, and respectable D1 Baseball Program. It is obvious that he is cow tailing to a few players that are not producing at the plate. He does not have the backbone to make the corrective actions that need to be made to right the ship. This is D1 Baseball & these players need to understand that they need to produce or sit on the bench. The coaches around the SoCon are talking about what is going on at WCU because of the Baseball Tradition that has been a hallmark of the Baseball Program.
