On the bright side....We don't have the worst record in D-1. St. Peters in the MAAC is 0-17 and Delaware St in the MEAC is 3-23.

A-Rod benched ! The $275 million third baseman was removed from the starting lineup. Rodriguez was 2 for 16 (.125) with no RBIs in the series, going hitless in 12 at-bats against right-handed pitchers with nine strikeouts. He was 0 for 4 with three strikeouts in the opener against Jason Hammel, Baltimore’s Game 5 starter. Imagine That? You don't produce you don't play! No matter if you are making millions??

Pardon the anonymous post. I have my reasons, which I hope you all will respect. It is discouraging. VERY DISCOURAGING. I can assure you that if some of the guys on the bench were given 80 to 100 ABs, you would have some .300 hitters. Instead, they have a 1/4 of that if they are lucky in 9th inning garbage time or against a pitcher with an ERA of 0.15. The lineup is set. Period. You may earn a spot start or a DH job for the night if you scratch out a double in a garbage, 9th inning AB. But, other than that, t here is no competing for a spot. There was never a competition.
Barring an injury, nothing will really change. Sure, one of the subs might get a start if one of the regulars makes 2 errors in an inning or strikes out 3 times in a game. But, after that, it's right back to the same old thing. This is the biggest bunch of crap I have ever witnessed in my life and I've seen a lot of baseball. It's sickening to the players and to the fans.In a normal year when we are winning more than half our games and improving, I could see having a set lineup of your daily starters. That is how most successful baseball teams work at all levels. With that said, in a year when you have won 3 games out of 25 or whatever the record is, I think you have a good point. Why not really shake things up and give some of the young or more inexperienced guys a chance? What do we have to lose at this point except for more games? I am sure that coach is playing who he thinks that will give us the best chance to win but there has to come a time when a good coach will say why not play some other people and give them a chance. Who knows, we might find some hidden talent in a player that has allot of potential anyway. I mean if we are honest, the regular season is pretty much shot. I know we have allot of conference games left to play, but based on the results so far, I think it is time to shake things up and throw as many in the mix as possible to see if we can hit on a winning combination.

Got a text this morning pointing this out. Did you know that out of the 297 D1 baseball teams only one team has fewer wins than us.
St Peters is 0-24 next is WCU 3-28
