Great to read your posts. Those of us that once played Baseball for the Cats are having massive heartburn over this season. When more info is leaked out after the season, I will be very surprised if Randy Eaton is not directly or indirectly involved in this Baseball Meltdown. I do not trust Randy Eaton at all. He is a Football Man & will drain the rest of the Programs at WCU to benefit Coach Speir. I also think it is impossible to think that Coach Hunter voluntarily agreed to not coach the final year of his extended contract & walk away from his $200+ thousand salary. If so, Baseball would be a natural target for Budget Reduction to compensate Hunter. The key will be the total number of scholarships allowed for the Baseball Program. If it is less than 11.7, it will be a red flag.
