Moranda selected for USA Baseball 17U coaching staff

Western Carolina head baseball coach Bobby Moranda has been selected to be on the staff for the 2018 17-and-under National Team Development Program (NTDP) spearheaded by USA Baseball. Moranda, who ranks as the all-time winningest head coach in Catamount baseball history, makes his USA Baseball coaching debut in 2018.

Moranda is one of five current collegiate coaches that includes four head coaches – Auburn, Northwestern, Texas, and WCU – that are on the NTDP staff. The staff also features two former MLB veterans, a current MLB scout, and former WCU and Clemson head baseball coach, a 2014 American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Hall of Fame inductee, Jack Leggett. The coaching staff was originally announced back in late April.
