I would be willing to bet we have one of if not the oldest scoreboards in the country!! If im not mistaken it was installed in 1991. That is freaking pathetic.

On a serious note, I understand what you are saying though. I wonder if they do not have the budget to fix the scoreboard or funds are going in other spots of considered more need. I wonder if we could request to Eaton to consider raising money for a baseball scoreboard fund specific to just scoreboard upgrade. |

I mean yeah it’s old but unless they add a screen I don’t see the point in upgrading. It does everything else just fine. Probably could use a coat of paint though.

Putting a bigger Pepsi sign on the scoreboard may help with getting more money from Pepsi. I am a firm believer that the small things matter as well. A new board with updated technology will help in recruiting and creating a positive atmosphere for the team. Cannot forget the small things just to focus on the big things. I know, scoreboards cost money!

I know, scoreboards cost money! Exactly a score board as simple as it may seem is a huge advantage in recruiting. We have a decent scoreboard for a High School that happens to be 28 years old. It was considered old when i played there shortly after it was installed. Id rather have a locker room at field i guess but damn something new |

But someone tried to tie in baseball's issues and concerns (scoreboard etc) and blame it on the AD because of the recent extension and I fell victim and took the bait and confronted the post when it should have been in the football post and I should have ignored the post. |
