He was named MVP of the 1988 Southern Conference Tournament (batted .600/12 RBI) ... In 1992 he became Western's head coach and led the Catamounts to the Southern Conference regular season and tournament championships as well as the championship of the NCAA south regional ... Overall he led WCU to three Southern Conference tournament titles and three Southern Conference regular-season titles ... LeClair was a three-time Southern Conference Coach of the Year with a career record of 229-135. His number (#23) was retired on April 11, 2006.

If he was still around he would have won a college world series by now maybe even multiple ones.

Opening Day Of Leclair Classic Schedule Altered
ECU officials have announced that Day One of the 2019 Keith LeClair Classic, which is scheduled to begin on Friday, March 1, has been altered due to potential inclement weather in the area. Game one of the LeClair Classic between Wright State and Western Carolina will start at 11 a.m. (ET) on March 1st at Lewis Field inside Clark-LeClair Stadium, while ECU's opening contest against Utah will start approximately 45 minutes after the conclusion of the opener.

Ill be there, but with the altered schedule I will probably miss some innings as I am leaving from Belmont, NC after I drop my son off at school approximately 7:30 so with travel time and stopping to get a little breakfast and I am sure a couple of pit stops I will have to make, I will try to be there as soon as I can. But I will be in the Jungle watching every series. Supporting the LeClair schools
