Cats win 5-2. that's 10 wins on the season, 5 straight wins. This was another very good Coaching Performance by Coach Mo. I think when Coach Mo put Zach Franklin into the game, that was the turning point in the game. I like Zach & I think he is the best pitcher on the team. An excellent pitching performance by Zach Franklin & timely hitting against a very good Elon Pitcher catapulted the Cats to victory. This was a good win & I’m proud of the Coaching Staff & the Catamount Players. Baseball is a lot more fun when you are winning. Great job Cats. |

It will be a big challenge for our hitters. Sure wish I could be at the game & see the Cats put another W on the board against a Pro Caliber Pitcher. |

We got a win from one of Elon's two preseason all-American pitchers on Friday, on Saturday the Cats face another one. Keep swinging the bats.

Wonder why Coach Mo did not put the hook on the starting pitcher? You hurt the team when a pitcher is not throwing strikes & walking hitters. Coach has 16 pitchers on the roster & he should use them. The ump is not calling the inside strike & yet our pitcher keeps throwing the inside pitch. |

Nothing against Purus, but he should not have pitched at all in the 5th. Moranda just will not pull a starting pitcher when he needs too.
