I think we found the woodshed, but it was the Cats taking the Spartans out back instead of the other way around. I said the way these guys can hit, we should have a chance in most games. It would be really good to pickup a series win in today's game.

Cats win 2-1 to take the series! Walter throws 12 of his 14 pitches in the 9th as strikes, striking out the side to close the game out and finish his 7th inning giving up 6 hits, 1 run, 2 walks and 8 Ks. Wilder finishes a great day at the plate going 3-4 with a HR. Great job Cats!

Cats win 2-1 to take the series! Walter throws 12 of his 14 pitches in the 9th as strikes, striking out the side to close the game out and finish his 7th inning giving up 6 hits, 1 run, 2 walks and 8 Ks. Wilder finishes a great day at the plate going 3-4 with a HR. Great job Cats! Great win for the Cats in the Conference. Walter pitched an outstanding game & he took complete charge in the 9th inning with a flurry of Ks. Didn’t know how well the pitchers would respond in this road series but I was pleasantly surprised how they performed. Hope they can keep it up for the rest of this season. Don’t like to see the Cats in last place in the SoCon Standings. Hopefully this is a sign that the Cats are on their way to the top of the SoCon Standings. |

Great team win! Pitching, hitting, & defense was good. Now to focus on Wofford! Catdadof3, is Nanny Hurt? Did not see him in the lineup. Nanny was very sick at ETSU and from what I have been told was sick all week and had lost about 20 pounds and was going to be seen by a doctor this weekend. So he did not travel. Prayers up for him as he is a good player |
