UNCG is going to be out for revenge for the embarrassment our woeful team from last year gave them in the tournament. First time a #9 seed has beaten a #1 seed twice in a tournament. I fear they will take us behind the woodshed this weekend. Am looking for another 0-3 weekend; hoping for better. What kind of idiot would post something like this ? |

The Bat Cats had a great weekend in Greensboro, despite the fact that Daylan Nanny is sick and didn't even make the trip.
Sure hope someone finds the reason for the high temps he has experienced the past several days (according to Hook).
Chase Walter pitched his heart out yesterday. Went back out in the 9th with his pitch count over 100. Used 11 pitches to get 3 K's.

Greensboro is definitely in a rebuilding mode after last year's regular season championship. They have only 3 Seniors on their whole roster.
But that does not diminish our series victory this weekend in any way...

Catdadof3, is Nanny Hurt? Did not see him in the lineup. Nanny was very sick at ETSU and from what I have been told was sick all week and had lost about 20 pounds and was going to be seen by a doctor this weekend. So he did not travel. Prayers up for him as he is a good player Please keep us informed about Nanny. He has been a great addition for the Cats this season. |
