Yes, we tried to lose it in the 9th. G-W comes to bat down 4-0. We gave up 4 hits and 3 runs. 3rd run scored from 3rd on a balk.
Runners on 1st and 3rd with one out. Batter grounded into a 6-4-3 double play to end the game. No DP, the tying run scores from 3rd.
Gotta tighten up against Mercer this weekend. Mercer's record is about like ours. Sub-.500 overall and also in the SOCON, but they are ahead of us by 1 game in the league standings. 4-5 vs. 3-6 for us.
