Unfortunately, I think you are correct. Don't believe we have the pitching to put a 3-4-5 game series together. Coaches only seem to have confidence in 4-5 hurlers.

Well as awful as our pitching (and hitting) was last year, we got to one game from the final. We are better this year, but so are the teams at the top of the league. |

We are better this year, but so are the teams at the top of the league. 75, did you watch Walter pitch against Mercer? I watched his pitches very carefully to detect the movement he had on his pitches. The pitches that were nose diving looked like he was throwing a split finger pitch. The movement looked a lot like the pitch that Greg Holland has been throwing for the last 6 or 7 years. I could not tell if he was using a circle change or a palm ball when he threw his change up. Nevertheless, he was a pitcher & not a thrower in the Mercer Game. |
