Why isn't this your opinion of the football head coach as well, who has been on the job for 7 years? Why the different attitudes between the two - or is Prosser not in your family tree like Speir? We never seen the results out of Speir that you demand out of Prosser, a guy only in his second year. I think Speir has had to operate with one hand tied behind his back. and that did not apply to Hunter and now Prosser? I'll bet you the funding pockets for football have been much, much deeper for football than basketball in the last 20 years. That includes scholarships, recruiting budgets, assistant coaches salaries and head coaches salaries. You go to any extreme to defend a family member.

Nice player Not D1 nice though. He can transfer get some playing time and a good education. Dreams change when reality sets in. Seems the new coaching staff is hitting the recruiting trail hard and stepping up the level of incoming freshmen.

This transfer has raised some eyebrows. Never an easy thing. He was a very nice guard for us. The kind that help you win consistently. Hate he is gone for sure. I think we can all agree that this is a lose/ lose situation. Tough for the program to lose a talented local guard and tough for the kid to transfer and start over. I really dont think this is a playing time issue. He played alot this season and would have continued to play alot down the road. No question about his ability but just maybe time to move due to other factors. Be interesting to see how things go the next few years. Cottrel will be fine, no doubt. I heard he was already a sr. academically. Prosser has his hands full trying to become a consistent winner. All we can do is wait.

It would be interesting if he went to Appy State. Maybe he'll join his brother Zach at North Georgia, a Div II team. I never did find out why Zach left Appy State, probably lack of playing time. Looks like I was right, Josh will be joining his brother Zach at North Georgia per Verbal Commits "5/23/2019 - 2018 SG Josh Cottrell (6-2, 185, 2★) will be transferring to North Georgia." I wonder if he knows the "Nighthawks" have a new basketball coach as well?

So, if Coach Prosser does not win 25 games then "none of it is true" and I am a liar? I could spend a whole day explaining why this is an idiotoic statement, but it would be a waste of time as you would not be abe to understand. I won't get into anything else as that would also be a waste of time. No wonder we strugle so in finding quality coaches and players that are willing to come to our school.
