SoCon John previews the Cats: "In part one of the WCU preview, I take a look at the overview and the offense for the 2019 season in Cullowhee. Overview: Head coach Mark Speir heads into his eighth season in Cullowhee with a wealth of wisdom he’s gained from tough seasons in the past, whether it be as an assistant coach or as a head coach. The 2018 campaign for Western Carolina certainly would fall in that category. During the league’s annual media day, which was held at the Marriott Hotel in Spartanburg this past week, coach Speir reminisced about his days as an assistant coach at Appalachian State. His mind went back to the 2004 campaign as he glanced at me with his quarterback — preseason Southern Conference Player of the Year Tyrie Adams — and his senior defensive back Devarius sitting to his left — coach Speir then proceeded to nod at me with that re-assuring look." read more here: medium.com/socon-football-weekly/2019-socon-football-previews-the-western-carolina-catamounts-part-1-of-2-dc8b3624669a

I wonder if our players are as sick of continually hearing about App St as I am.
I do appreciate the information on our team.
