Prior to Western Carolina: Originally signed with James Madison in the early signing period before transferring to WCU … Must serve a year in residency before becoming eligible to compete … Was a two-year starter as a prep and a three-time state champion at Shelby High … Finished with 85 career tackles and 11 interceptions including five as a senior and six as a junior … Was a two-time All-Southwestern Athletic Conference selection … Listed as a two-star product by both Rivals.com and 247Sports.com … Was a two-time Scholar-Athlete … Was also an all-conference selection in track, qualifying for the regional meet in the 110-meter hurdles.
