Disney cut all ESPN based programs off Spectrum yesterday afternoon. Talk about terrible timing with football kicking off last night. ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ACC Network AND SEC Network Gone. Anyone else have spectrum? Switched to AT&T last night for a whole lot cheaper. They said they switched thousands of people over last night. Hoping I can still watch the main networks through ESPN+. What a mess!

I've gone completely digital with my TV channels. Just do you research on how much you want to spend. I think PlutoTV and YouTubeTV may give you your best options under $100

I have YouTubeTV. It's one of the better deals if you are cutting the cord, but want most of what you had on cable...

I feel zero need in paying for Disney's horrible corporate model and structure. Review your bill and see how much money you pay the sinking ship that is Disney. They basically are trying to extort Spectrum, and I am no friend of Spectrum either. I will listen to the radio broadcast before I would give them money. Sports on radio is great anyways. JMO.

Use a streaming service. They all hold each other hostage and the consumer suffers.

Agree - this happens every time the contracts come back up for all the major content providers against all the major cable companies. The cable companies want the fees to go down, the content providers want the fees to go up, and you get blackouts all the time. This one is just big news because it is the start of football season and impacts ESPN who carries lots of games.
As others suggested, get a streaming service. You can pick the one that offers the best sports packages, and then simply cancel it at the end of whatever season you want. And that "season" could be a sports season, a specific show, etc. I know it is more work, but at least as a consumer we can have a little bit of control on what we pick, pay for, and switch to on our own terms.

As much as I hate Xfinity, they and AT&T are the only two internet providers in our neighborhood, so we are looking at moving to faster speeds with them (AT&T offers DSL - not fiber). So if we get internet & phone with Xfinity, and subscribe to Fubu streaming, we can cut our mobile & tv services in half - from $400/month to $200. And Fubu has one of the best sports packages available - with Bally Sports to watch Braves and other regional sports. Of course, Fubu could at some point have contractual issues with ESPN or other network.

I ended up dropping Spectrum for YouTube TV. Saved me a lot of money. Only complaint is that I don't get Bally Sports to watch my Braves. The nice thing about YouTube TV is that I was able to watch 4 games at once on one screen. Definitely made my man cave the place to watch football with 7 different games, on 4 different screens. Felt like Buffalo Wild Wings lol.

Now I’m with Fubo because they have ESPN and Bally. $75/month. The only downside is you can only stream on one TV at a time, which isn’t a big deal as my wife never uses it.
