This is just a rumor, but I heard that we will be playing 12 games this fall, 5 at home and 7 on the road. Retired Cat, please comment if this is correct or wrong.
If we play 11 games next year, I project 8 wins and 3 losses.
If we play 12 games, I project 7 wins and 5 losses.

The 2024 FCS schedule will allow for 12 games, it's not mandatory but 12 game can be played as there is an extra week between Labor Day and Thanksgiving in 2024 than normal. I WCU will have 12 games in 2024 and 2025 |

And yes - we will have 5 home and 7 away games in 2024. That is very unfortunate, as it would be nice to get the 6th home game. But as Jerry said, I think 2025 is also a 12-game season. Always based on the number of Saturdays, but pretty sure we have back-to-back 12 game seasons coming up. fbschedules.com/2025-western-carolina-football-schedule/Shows 4 OOC games on what is shaping up as a very nice schedule with lots of in-state football games. We will play 12 games this season and next season (2025). I am pretty sure we will have six home games in 2025. Also, it looks like we will have six home games in 2027 and 2028.That's all I have for now, but stay tuned.
