I read the comments about our big men. They seem to be better on defense than offense. If you guys remember, RetiredCat warned us at the beginning of the season that he was worried that lack of post play on offense might hurt us when we get into conference. Seems like he was right. I know those guys play hard and I think Williams will be better as he grows up because he has athletic ability. Our post guys play their hearts out, but they do not contribute much in scoring or rebounding which puts a lot on Woolbright shoulders.

They average 8 rebounds amongst them, and Lampten definitely has a defensive impact. There has to be an offensive threat though.

I agree with a lot of what they are saying on this podcast but I do not agree that Woolbright will not be the player of the year in the SoCon. Woolbright is hands down the best player in the SoCon. It is funny to me when they say it could go to someone else.

I have faith in this team. All our losses have been close, good performance or not. I could see a turning point coming soon.

Bottom line this team players and coaches need to figure it out. We have not been blown out by any team so we know we can compete. It’s been said multiple times. We need help from the bench and our big men need to rebound and get involved in the offense.

The bottom line is we have to win the tourney no matter what happens during the season to make it to the Big Dance. I want to win every game but we can still finish strong and make a run in the tournament. Gray's 1st season 11 wins (11 wins prior season for WCU), 18 wins last year, & 16 wins right now with 8 games left to play before the tournament. Take a breath and relax a little....good things are happening. It's been mentioned on here but I have not felt like there is any team in our conference that we can not beat. As long as we get the 1st round bye (not bottom 4), I feel good about us making a run! Go Cats!
