I have heard whispers of Coach Gray leaving after this year and in turn would take his coaching staff. I guess the better thing to say is he will be looking after this year and a lot of mid majors will be interested. I think the rush on his part is his wife is not a fan of the rural location of WCU and spends most of her time at the house in the Charlotte area Coach owns a house in Charlotte? Kind of like Hunter. If I were AD, I would require all head coaches to fully relocate to Cullowhee. You have to be all in and not owning a house in Jackson County is not all in. No exceptions.

He kept it from when he was at Winthrop. He rents a house in Jackson County

Understandable sentiment, but not sure how that works in practice. I did notice that we contracted with a company that specializes in managing athletic staff relocations, which is an interesting concept. There are all kinds of challenges here in Jackson County when it comes to real estate, etc.
