I don't know that we will have any recruits for next year, unless someone transfers. We will have no seniors on next year's team. Mendenhall would have been the only one, but he red-shirted as a junior.

Cherokee boys basketball coach Rob Strong expects a big addition to Western Carolina University’s roster for next season. Braves center Tsalidi Sequoyah will likely join the Catamounts as a preferred walk-on, Strong said today. That would give WCU the state’s leading rebounder (16.7 rpg.). Sequoyah is a 6-foot-8, 220-pound senior who also averages 20.0 points a game for the Braves (14-12). blogs2.citizen-times.com/hshuddle/2012/02/21/cherokee-big-man-likely-headed-to-wcu/No walk on at WCU for Tsalidi Sequoyah. " Cherokee center commitsCherokee center Tsalidi Sequoyah has committed to play college basketball for Northeastern (Mass.). Former Braves coach Rob Strong said Sequoyah chose the Huskies after strongly considering the chance to play locally as a preferred walk-on for Western Carolina University. Sequoyah averaged team-high totals in points (20.2 per game) and rebounds (16.7) last season for the Braves (15-13)." That's too bad, I'm sure his family would like to see him play a little more often than is possible in Massachusetts. I wonder if he's was offered a full scholarship at Northeastern.

CharlotteCat, If we take instate charity cases we will never win the SoCon Conference ;D Our coach's comments over last year seem to indicate we are selective with getting players that have hustle on both D and O. I wish him the best, his size would have been nice.
DHYS? WTH?
