As a sophomore, named NC All-State, Region 7 Pitcher of the Year, Region 7 All-District, CVAC Player of the Year and All-Conference and was also helped team to achieve CVAC Conference and Tournament Champions ... Also played basketball and volleyball receiving conference accolades for both.
