After a 10-year absence, East Tennessee State announced today the school is officially bringing back football.
The Tennessee Board of Regents approved a $125 student fee that will provide the $2.5 million funding needed to field a program. That figure is expected to rise to $2.8 million each year after that; by the 2018-19 academic year, ETSU estimates $4.9 million per year will be needed to fund the program.
