Does anyone think we will be favored over anyone except Mars Hill? With back to back 1-10 seasons, I doubt it. We got to prove we can win first. I do think we will sneak up on a couple, but unless we win early, come game time in each, we'll be the underdog. |

I honestly think that the two FBS games out of the gate will only help us improve, so long as we can stay healthy and have a decent show in these two games. If we want to get better we have to play better opponents.
A win over El Cid would then I believe give our team some confidence and allow us to have a nice season. 3-4 wins and I would be absolutely beside myself!
Lets not cont us out just yet, this is the first time in a loooooong time I believe we are headed in the right direction

I wish it was still baseball season also. Reading this I remembered our Indoor track and cross county teams are Fall sports. Fall 2013 isn't looking all that bad . I honestly think that the two FBS games out of the gate will only help us improve, so long as we can stay healthy and have a decent show in these two games. Only thing I will add is I hope our admin and coaches have and attitude and actions that we are practicing, drilling, and preparing to go out there on the field EXPECTING we have the ability to win. I don't care if its #1 Alabama or Auburn we are playing, I want those kids to practice their trouble spots, weaknesses, and work on plays to win. Eventually, we will have the higher score. A lot of last years games were almost wins, needing that extra score or extra defensive stops. |
