It's now 90 days until the kickoff of Catamount football on Labor Day Weekend, Saturday, September 1, 2018, against the Newberry College Wolves, in Cullowhee.
For the season kick-off, the Cats will host a "White Out" game in E.J. Whitmire Stadium as the Cats will sport its all-white look with white Adidas jerseys over white pants and for a fourth-straight year, postgame fireworks extravaganza follows the home-opener.
To help pass those long summer days, and hopefully get the Catamount faithful more excited about the upcoming season, and knowledgeable of the team members, we'll continue the 100-day football countdown each day until kickoff day.

Prior to Western Carolina: Joined the WCU football team during the summer as a transfer after two seasons at Laney College in the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) ... Played in 17 games over two seasons including nine games in 2016 ... Recorded 37 career tackles with 25 total tackles including 15 solo stops and nine tackles for loss with seven sacks as a sophomore ... Opened his career with 12 tackles including 6.5 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks as a freshman ... Also credited with four career blocked kicks; HIGH SCHOOL: Played both offensive and defensive line as a prep, tallying 20 pancake blocks with 57 total tackles as a senior.
