Yes, according to SBNation - FCS Head Coaches
1. Tom Arth, Chattanooga - Arth is entering his second year at Chattanooga, but his seat is already scorching hot considering the Mocs dismal performance in 2017. Athletic Director David Blackburn took a big chance on Arth, who had only coached at the Division III level prior to the hire. The Mocs were supposed to take a step back with Arth installing a new system. However, no one expected the program to go 3-8 in his first year. Blackburn stepped down in the summer of 2017, and new AD Mark Wharton is not beholden to Arth. If the Mocs don’t finish with a winning record this year, there’s a decent chance that Arth will be replaced at the end of the season. www.underdogdynasty.com/2018/7/19/17266064/g5-fcs-head-coaches-who-enter-2018-on-the-hot-seat-houston-east-carolina-charlote-texas-state

On ECU, UNCC coaches being on the hot seat, I can say rightfully so. UNCC's Lambert barely could do anything against Division III competition when they were starting up and have been a soft punching bag for everyone since moving to FBS. WCU should try to schedule them, that would certainly be our first FBS win. On ECU, since I am also an alumni there like I am at WCU. First, I do not fault Scottie Montgomery as much as I fault that crappy former AD Compher for firing Ruffin McNeill the way he did(who is doing pretty well with Lincoln Riley at Oklahoma by the way) and putting an inexperienced coach as a head coach at a school where Football is king. Coach Montgomery is in my opinion almost Dennis Wagner bad and if he does not live up to his "promise/guarantee" he needs to go. Montgomery actually "Guaranteed that ECU would go bowling in 2018" after getting killed by Memphis 70-13. I laughed hysterically at that comment. Plus with a new AD to be announced at some point, I would say his seat is not just hot but on fire. All I know is I want be watching that dumpster fire in Greenville, I am taking my services to watching Mark Speir and the Catamounts prove naysayers wrong and finally get into the playoffs. GO CATS !!!
