Just heard we will be playing the Sooners in 2021. Have we ever played them before?

Just heard we will be playing the Sooners in 2021. Have we ever played them before? I don't believe so. I searched the 2012 Football yearbook, and "Oklahoma" only came up twice, but both times in reference to former players who had ties to the state. The yearbook lists the outcome of every game we have ever played.

Vegas released the initial betting odds. Sooners -49.5 I don't think we will beat them by 49.5. I think we will win by a couple of touchdowns at best. They will keep it close early but about the middle of the 2nd quarter we should start to wear them down and pull away. :-) Seriously, we will probably get to see Jalen Hurt again because he is a graduate transfer to Oklahoma and you know he was promised the starting QB job or he would not have enrolled.

Even with the new redshirt rules, Hurts can't play beyond 2020 😁
Technically he could play up to 4 games in 2019 and redshirt since he never has, then could play in 2020. Not sure if he could transfer again as a grad for that season - this whole college free agency is a bit confusing sometimes. I expect him to start and tutor the incoming super-Freshman the Sooners signed, and I expect Hurts to put up pretty good numbers under a dynamic offensive coach like Riley (along with the stud WRs they have and the suspect Defenses in the Big 12).
