What will be the official attendance next week in Cullowhee playing Chattanooga? Considering the Cats have lost their last 2 games, and the students will be on break. While Chattanooga has dropped a couple conference games, they beat the Samford team that just put the worse beating on the Catamounts since Appy State's 2007 win (35-79).

Is this poll based on official attendance, or butts in seats? Since all attendance appears to go with tickets sold (or handed out), I'll still say in the 7-8k range. But my guess is it will look like a lot less. And if UTC plays the kind of D they seem capable, and they are ahead by more than 14 at the half, my guess is butts in seats for the second half will be more like 2-3k.
One thing is for sure, even in the 1 and 2 win seasons there were still fans in the stands (at least to start games) in EJ Whitmire.

For the person that voted 10k or better. If the official attendance is announced as over 10 thousand, it's a total lie. Period. Without the students, we could (maybe) reached that level IF we were going into the Chattanooga game having won the last two games, with a 5-0 record.
With last Saturday's disaster freshly on everyone's mind, only the player's parents, and the folks being inducted into the Hall of Fame will be in the stands on Saturday. Of course, they will count season tickets, and the 4 folks from Chattanooga. But, 2 thousand at the most will actually be in seats.

Won't be this weekend either. With beautiful weather, we'll have announced attendance over 7,000 and at least 5,000 in seats. (Not many students)

My only regret is that there was no option for 15,000+ I would have selected that just to see who would pop an aneurysm over an internet forum poll.

Some of you folks need to get real. We know they will inflate the official attendance (almost every school does), but all you folks projecting 7,8,9 or better attendance should pull off those people tinted glasses.

Anyone seen the huge numbers for a 3-2 Western homecoming game during Fall Break?

Never heard it on the broadcast. The West stands looked pretty full in the first half, but I never saw a decent shot of the East side.
