Lost again. I don't know what the answer for Women's basketball is. We lost to North Alabama by 23 89-66. We lost double digits to NJIT and that was their first win out of 6 tries. I know everyone says that we can fire the coach at the end of the year because I believe her contract is up and that looks like it is going to happen if this keeps up, but we have not had consistent success in Women's basketball in years. The lady before Kelly got it going and Kelly continued the winning and as soon as she left, the winning stopped. We got lucky with Kelly because she was just starting out and we gave her a chance and she ended up being a good head coach for Western. Will we get lucky and find another good one? |

McCormick's only in her 3d season as head coach. I'm not happy with what's happening so far, but Speir has had 7 years (4 of which are losing seasons, including 2 of the last 3). She needs at least 5 years to get here recruits in, if she'd not winning at the end of 5, she should be gone.
