Western Carolina head men’s golf coach Tim Eckberg added four newcomers to his returning cast of five for the 2019-2020 season. Among the four are one international student, one redshirt freshman transfer, and two from the United States including one in-state product.
Eckberg and WCU welcome Tyler Bussert (Port Byron, Ill. / Iowa/Riverdale HS), Quinton Metz (Wilkesboro, N.C. / Wilkes Central HS), Magnus Pederson (Moss, Norway), and Pierre Viallaneix (Apopka, Fla. / Winterpark HS) to the men’s golf roster.
Western Carolina’s 2019-20 schedule, which features 11 total events with five in the fall and six in the spring semester, will be officially released in the coming days.
