Ben elder is transferring to a school in Texas. He was from California who won a lot. 3 players 2 coaches? At what point is an explanation necessary when good players leave and a coach who led the offense to the best in SOCON

Why do we even pay assistants. They don’t get to do anything. Bobby runs that team like a dictator and the assistants have no say in anything.

That is correct. Asst Coaches are not allowed to coach. The players see this and don't want to be there. They like the asst coaches better than the HC. It is Bobby's way or no way. The parents of the players also see this and the way he speaks to players and coaches alike

The 2 confirmed leaving are not returning players. They are transfers in - this year. Maybe they did not feel they would get playing time. They left for D2 schools. It does not look like any returning players are leaving. Not sure about the coach issue tho

Barnard started at catcher in the fall games in Ohio from lineup card, and Silkwood’s Twitter has stats from fall and looked to be good? Them wanting to play D2 over WCU should say a lot

For the last 2 or 3 years he has looked & acted like a man that did not have his heart in coaching. I think the new AD & Dr Brown will not put up with his nonsense.

It does not look like any returning players are leaving. Not sure about the coach issue tho This is telling that existing players are not leaving. Players that were going to transfer in deciding not to come could be for multiple reasons like you say. Most baseball players are not on scholarship or do not get much scholarship money. Maybe these guys can be stars at the D2 level. I do not think we can conclude they are not coming becuse of the current coaching staff. With that said, with a new Chancellor and a new AD on the way, Coach Moranda will need to show improvement this year to keep his job after this year. I he wins half his games and shows that things are improving, he will probably keep his job. He does not have to win the conference but he has to show marked improvement I would think.

If I read everything correctly, it's not that these players aren't choosing to come to WCU...it's that they were already rostered and chose to leave. Returning players or not, I'd think that multiple players leaving this close to the season would be a cause for concern...especially without any explanation.
