The Citadel and Furman.
"...two of the state’s three SoCon teams are still looking to play up to four non-conference football games in 2020....but The Citadel and Furman are both interested in doing so."
Does thing give you hope that the Cats may play?
"With new information being provided nearly every day over the past several weeks, we wanted to be patient in our decision making and give our student-athletes every opportunity to do what they love," Western Carolina University Director of Athletics Alex Gary said in a news release. "At the end of the day, there were too many variables that could negatively affect the health and welfare of our student-athletes. Not playing a full fall sports season at this point may be the best way to remove many of those variables."
