This feels like a sham to me. The Big 10 and Pac 12 were touting how they were concerned about the student athlete before everybody else, but when they saw other big-boy conference playing this weekend they decided they couldn't miss out on the money. Somebody explain to me how Ohio State announced they area canceling Spring Break because they don't want students to leave campus and come back, yet they are going to allow their student athletes to travel AND they are going to allow other teams to come into their campus "bubble" but that is not risky??? And wasn't Michigan State going into like a campus-wide quarantine because of major breakouts???
I get it - everybody wants to play football. But they should just be open about it and say they couldn't stand the other conferences being ahead of them and getting all the money and publicity.

Exactly they just want to make the playoffs after everybody is saying this could be the year a group of five school like UCF or Houston could make the college football playoffs without them and the Pac 12 playing but I wonder how they would do with most of their star players opting out
