I don't understand the point in all this.
Just because a kid is from WNC, doesn't mean WCU should offer them. Not every D1 high school prospect fits the recruiting profile of all D1 programs. Sometimes, a prospect's services are just not needed at that position, and not all D1 prospects live up to the hipe and expectation projected to that player.

Totally agree 72. I understand this idea that you offer everybody or “try to be first” on some big-time talent, but in reality your recruiting effort (and dollars) have to be focused on the needs your program have and (IMO) are best to be aimed at kids you have a chance with. That isn’t saying don’t build some relationships, but that “top 10” list for WNC players playbook posted - I only see a couple of other SoCon schools offering some of those guys, and those appear to be recruits who are considering either military type schools or very high level academic institutions.
