I was just letting folks know he was no longer in Cullowhee.
He was certainly on the roster when the season was brought to a sudden end after the Bryant series back in March.

I get it, the 2021 preseason roster had already been posted along with last seasons roster. It made it sound like it just happened, same thing with Jones

By my count, there were 5 underclassmen who were on the team last Spring who are not on the Fall Pre-season 2021 roster...
Colin Bertsch - IF Angel Torres - IF and DH Jalen Jones - IF Michael Goehrig - C Carson Ford - OF
They were all getting pretty decent playing time in the 16 games played before cutoff of the season.
Bertsch - 9 games participated in; 3 starts Torres - 14 games participated in; 9 starts Jones - 11 games participated in; 6 starts Goehrig - 12 games participated in; 6 starts Ford - 10 games participated in; 3 starts
Apparently Bertsch, Jones and Goehrig followed departed Coach David Garcia to the JUCO in Illinois. And then, after just a few months there, Goehrig has now landed at EKU. Carson Ford is at a NAIA school nearer his home in Tennessee. Not sure where Torres landed but he came to WCU from a JUCO in Texas.
Looks to me like our incoming guys could be promising. And there is a lot of experience returning. SoCon will only have 8 baseball participants going forward since Furman dropped baseball.
