The Southern Conference added an April 10 contest between the Citadel and Furman in Charleston, SC, to its previously announced spring football schedule, necessitating five other games to move to accommodate the addition. ETSU, VMI and Wofford saw changes to their spring slates, while the schedules for Mercer, Samford, Chattanooga and Western Carolina were unchanged. The reconfigured schedule sees The Citadel host ETSU on March 20 and visit Wofford on April 3 and Furman visits VMI on Feb. 27. VMI at Wofford moved to March 27 and ETSU at VMI moved to April 3.

There could be some very cold/dreary games in February and March at WCU, ETSU, and VMI. Realistically all the schools could see rough weather, but I have vivid memories of 2 feet of snow in Cullowhee in March my Junior year with widespread power outages.
