I am planning to run up to Spartanburg on Saturday for the DH. Called the Wofford ticket office on Monday and talked with a nice young lady named Shelby.
She asked me if I was a parent or relative of a player. I told her I was not. (I did not tell her I was affiliated with WCU OR with Wofford.) She said I could come watch the games anyway.
She said there would not be any tickets sold but I would be welcome to come and sit (socially distanced, of course) with a mask (of course) and enjoy the games.

I asked Jerry & got no response. I stopped posting on the Football & Basketball sections of this board because of how sorry those programs are being run. Enjoy your trip to Wofford & wish I could go with you. Myrtle Beach is a little far for me to drive to catch up with you. Take care & stay out of trouble.

Jim, sorry I missed the question. Looks like the last time he's played was against St. Johns on March 14. I haven't heard anything thing about him or why he not playing.

This is just a thought of mine, do you think it would be advantageous to the Basketball & Football Programs if the AD would conduct exit interviews with all the players leaving Western? Then, provide a written report to the Chancellor documenting the results of those interviews.

Then, provide a written report to the Chancellor documenting the results of those interviews. I would think any AD, worth his/her salt, would conduct exit interviews with departing student-athletes. Not only to learn something about their coaches but the entire experience at the university. I think this would/should lead to some form of communication between the AD and his/her boss. I have no idea if the new AD is or has been doing this, and I think it should cover all sports, not just football/basketball. I don't have a lot of confidence in the lines of communication, with and between the AD, coaches, and the university leadership. On the outside looking in, it doesn't seem as much has changed since the last AD and the last interim Chancellor. Nothing about the athletic program is transparent, everything is kept as secret as possible, that's the way it's been and the new chancellor has done nothing to make a change in that manner of operation. It all comes down from the top, all the lackeys take their cue from the head boss.
