Just a reminder - THE NEW SOCON SCHEDULE
This season, the league’s eight teams are divided into two divisions and competing in 10 three-game series. The decision to revise the conference schedule from seven to 10 weeks allows for each team to compete in a total of 30 conference games and ensure games would still be played if non-conference games are canceled due to COVID-19 protocols. The Red Division includes The Citadel, Mercer, Western Carolina and Wofford, while the Blue Division is composed of ESTU, UNCG, Samford and VMI. Each squad will play a pair of three-game series against every other team in its division and a single series against the teams from the other division. For league series, schools will host three games over two days.
Both divisional winners from the regular season qualify for the tournament. Then, the two teams with the next two best records or winning percentage after that will also qualify, regardless of division. The seeds will be done 1-through-4 based on the best winning percentages among those four teams that qualify.
