We will probably be swept today, if Mercer has decent pitcher left to start.
With Mortenson and Matthews both hurt and with Mitschele not being mentioned in any pre-weekend publicity, we can assume he is not healthy.
We used our best options in the two games yesterday. Franklin, Snyder, Campbell, Tyndall and Hyde have been best so far this year.
We will have to resort to using Johnny Wholestaff in some kind of mix and match today. And I'm sure that does not strike fear into the hearts of Mercer batters.
We can win if someone(s) miraculously steps up and pitches like they never have before.

So, a team that scores nine runs and pitches eight (EIGHT!) scoreless innings wins what percent of the time? Makes no difference in the WCU universe......

CITDOGS are not going to catch anyone, but ETSU has a 10-11 SoCon record with a DH against Greensboro today. They could very easily catch us and take that 4th tourney spot. |

11-1 Mercer.
I have a better chance of climbing to the top of the roof on my house, and flying away, than this team has of even making the tournament. Same thing will happen next weekend with Wofford coming to Cullowhee.
Not playing Mercer that first time, game Catamount fans unrealistic expectations, even if we had the injured pitchers back.
Time for the AD to make a call on this coach.
