going into the top of the 5th (Wofford scored 10 runs in the 4th)  There is one thing that should stand out to Coach Mo about what is happening, he has a number of pitchers on this team that have no business pitching at the D1 level. Also, he needs to fire the Pitching Coach for not developing the pitchers that have had their clocks cleaned out by Mercer & Wofford. The Pitching Coach has done a terrible job recruiting pitchers. I don’t think any of the second tier pitchers know how to throw a circle change up. You add all this up with sorry coaching by Mo & you have a dumpster fire. Chancellor Brown are you watching the poor Coaching that is going on with the WCU Baseball Program? I think it is time to eliminate the coaches & start with a new head coach. I’ve seen enough of his incompetence over the past three or four years. |

Do these coaches even scout these pitchers before they sign them? They should at least make sure their pitchers that they sign can throw it to the catcher and be able to at least get close to throwing a strike.

That W in the last game today was huge.
We are pretty solid for the Tournament #4 seed with an 11-11 SoCon record.
UNCG is closest to us @ 11-15.
VMI and ETSU are both 11-16.
We need 2 wins next week vs. the CitDogs but that should be achievable.

Gavin Mortensen was very effective for 3 innings on his first outing in 5-6 weeks.
