Western Carolina women's golf won both of its matches on Monday at the 2nd Annual Aggie Invitational at the par-72, 6,205-yard Championship Course at Bryan Park. The Catamounts opened play by edging mountain-rival UNC Asheville 3-2 before closing play on the first day with a 4-1 win over the host North Carolina A&T. Women's Golf Posts Runner-Up Finish at Aggie Invitational After winning its two matches on Monday to advance to the championship pairing in Tuesday's final round, the Western Carolina women's golf team was edged by Elon, 3-2, in a tightly contested championship match to come home as the runner-up in the 2nd annual Aggie Invitational hosted by North Carolina A&T at the par-72, 6,205-yard Championship Course at Bryan Park. The Cats posted a runner-up finish at the Aggie Invitational that concluded Tuesday at Bryan Park in Greensboro, dropping a tight championship match with former SoCon foe, Elon.
