Western Carolina begins the 2022 outdoor track & field season this weekend as the Catamounts head to Atlanta and Georgia Tech's George C. Griffin Track for the Yellow Jacket Invitational.
The meet beings on Friday at 12:30 p.m. with the men's and women's hammer throw with track events commencing at 5:30 p.m. with the women's 100-meter hurdles. Opening day action is scheduled to conclude with the men's and women's 5,000-meter run around 8:45 p.m. On Saturday, field events start at Noon with the men's and women's high jump, women's pole vault, men's and women's triple jump, and men's and women's discus.
